STRATHBLANE PRIMARY SCHOOL
PARENT COUNCIL

HOW BEST TO IMPROVE OUR PLAY FACILITIES?

A meeting will be held in the school on Tuesday, 20th October at 7.30pm

This will be an extraordinary meeting of the Parent Council in order to gather parent opinion on how best to use any funding available from external sources to improve community/school play facilities.

We are at a crucial time for decision making as funds are presently available for use on either progressing the MUGA project (possibly for field drainage) or, with approval from the funding body, diverting these funds to the Playpark project.

However, the granting of these funds is severely time limited and may be very use specific. A project team from Greenheart, the Playpark group, and the Parent Council has been set up, and this group will make a short presentation to the meeting.

We are very keen to gather the opinions of parents, school and the wider community on how best to channel our energies, and any available money, into improving play facilities in both the short and long term.

If you are not able to attend the meeting but would like to raise any issues, please could you contact us through the website on www.strathparent.org or phone me on 770698

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON 20TH.
