NON-SPORTS EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The Parent Council is keen to increase the number of after school activities on offer. The number of sporting activities has already been increased, so we asked the pupils, through the Pupil Council, what non-sports they would like to be able to do.

We have already had offers from a number of parents to help run either a Sewing or Hobbies Club. In addition, Mrs James from the library has kindly offered to be involved in the running of a Book Club.
Taking the children’s suggestions as a start, the Parent Council would like to get together a group of enthusiastic parents to help with organising and running additional after school activities. If you are interested in helping please could you complete the slip below and return to me via the school by no later than Monday 1st December please. Please remember this does NOT mean a weekly or regular commitment – just ANY help on ANY basis!

The first meeting of the group will be on Wednesday, 10th December at 7.30 in the Blane Valley – hopefully just for an hour.
