Last year, Strathblane Primary School was delighted to be asked to take part in a pilot scheme for Learning and Teaching Scotland in order to raise achievement.
P3 and P4 took part in the initiative and communicated regularly with their parents, friends and family through a class blog. Once again the project has started up and Primary 3 have been very busy writing articles, a couple of times a week, sharing what they have been doing and learning about in school.
This is an opportunity for “the world” to ask questions and post comments which encourage the children in their learning. The blog already contains animations that the class created. They have had a very positive response and the children are very excited when we check the blog each morning.
