SUMMER FAIR FUNDRAISING
Part of the funds from at this year’s summer fair will go towards the purchase of interactive white boards for Strathblane Primary School.
Interactive white boards have a huge impact in the classroom and allow interactive learning through a wall mounted board that is connected to a computer. This technology allows pupils/ teacher to use their fingers or a digital pen to write on the surface.
Teachers can present lessons using power point, images and can connect to the internet. Also pupils can play interactive group maths and language games…in fact the possibilities are endless.
These white boards have been identified as an essential tool for improving the learning and teaching in the classroom and the school currently have 3 installed.
The target is to have a white board in all classrooms! Please support the school and parents in this fund raising effort.
